Thanks for pointing out that we have the right to choose our own restoration contractor. My husband and I had some flooding in our home from a storm. I'm glad to know we'll be able to choose the restoration contractor that we see fit.

I'll start to keep all of my receipts so that they can be used as proof for any future claims. No need to risk losing everything. Having a receipt also shows that I paid for it so there is no doubt that it was mine.

Yes, keep receipts. I like to keep them on my phone or perhaps on the cloud with one of my providers. Carriers want to see proof.
